Emily

THE BRAIN is wider than the sky,
For, put them side by side,
The one the other will include
With ease, and you beside.

The brain is deeper than the sea,
For, hold them, blue to blue,
The one the other will absorb,
As sponges, buckets do.

The brain is just the weight of God,
For, lift them, pound for pound,
And they will differ, if they do,
As syllable from sound.

Weird...I was just thinking that.

The brain would better off be cod
For drop them in the drink
The one will swiftly swim away
The other, swiftly sink.

A brain's less hassle than a chick,
For, leave them in the rain,
The one will raise a massive fuss,
The other will refrain.

The brain tastes just like a souffle,
For, baked in a small cup,
Each goes down quite delectably,
Though one will come back up.

The brain is like an oozing scab,
For, though little else the same,
Both a crack will irritate,
And liquor will inflame.

The brain's wrinkled as a walnut,
For, probe them, fold by fold,
Then seek the place where each crease leads...
The inner nut, behold.

The brain is like a Tootsie Pop,
And good enough to lick,
Pure sweetness 'round a worthy core,
Impaled upon a stick.

The brain's more festive than a cake,
For, puff at both in kind,
The one will snuff some candles out,
The other blows your mind.

The brain is like a ping pong ball,
Besides that both are round,
For, if you drop one on the floor,
It makes a popping sound.

The brain is like a fresh bouquet,
For, different gifts they seem,
The one will make your girlfriend cry,
The other make her scream.
